Decision to Follow Jesus
And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting
a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will
make you a fisher of men." They immediately left their nets and followed Him.— Matthew 4:18-20 NKJV
Becoming the Beloved Disciple
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was
the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.— John 21:7 NKJV
Becoming the Inner Circle
Then Jesus came with them to a placed called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples,
"Sit here while I go and pray over there."
— Matthew 26:36 NKJV
Becoming Ministry Partners
Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.— Acts 3:1 NKJV
And they laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was evening.— Acts:3 NKJV
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled.
And they realized that they had been with Jesus.— Acts 4:13 NKJV
Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and
John to them,— Acts 8:14 NKJV
Message of Love
He who does not love does not know God, for Go is love. In this the love of God is manifested toward us, that God has
sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not the we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent His Son to be propitiation for our sins.— 1 John 4:8-10 NKJV
